SPRINGBOARD x is a fundraising initiative that helps to sustain our organization, so that we may continue to produce programming that facilitates job opportunities for dance artists. SPRINGBOARD x workshops and intensives offer a taste of Springboard Danse in a non-audition setting, are available to a broader age range of participants, and are, uniquely, facilitated by Springboard artists. Join the Springboard family, while sharpening the skills necessary to support a dynamic and compelling career. Our workshops and intensives are thematically curated to answer pressing needs and curiosities among our community. 10-day intensive models SPRINGBOARD x | CREATE Take a radical dive into the starkly unique worlds of creation with two captivating choreographers. Immerse yourself in two creative processes, exploring the creator’s unique physicality, character-building, acting, improvisation, and visually stunning environments. SPRINGBOARD x | SKILLS + PROCESS Acquire the skill sets needed for the current job market. Techniques include Contemporary, IMAGE TECH©, Ballet, Flying Low, Floor work, Contact Improvisation, Improvisation, and Process. Weekend workshop models SPRINGBOARD x | REBEL INSTINCT Following your instincts is a merciless journey, one rebellious by nature. Our three rebels pushed to make a name for themselves and their own unique ventures. Share space with these fiery powerhouses to help you excavate your creative underbelly and sift through its desires. SPRINGBOARD x | REVOLUTIONARY CLASH Share space with three dance-theater creators who are known to challenge willing minds and bodies. These boundary-breaking artists are each paving their unique path in the dance-theater scene. Join us: you may just be shocked out of your comfort zone. SPRINGBOARD x | PARTNERSHIPS Springboard Danse joins forces with other dance organizations to host our workshops, intensives, and events, welcoming a diverse community of dancers. SPRINGBOARD x | AMPLIFIED In an ongoing visionary expansion of the partnership between Springboard Danse and Amplified Productions, this SPRINGBOARD x fundraising weekend offers a glimpse of the physical rigors and of our flagship summer project to dancers 16 years of age and older.
